Nothing in this app constitutes financial advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or investment management services. All trading decisions are yours alone. The AI features provide educational analysis only.
1. SOFTWARE TOOL ONLY — TradeCenter is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment manager.
2. BROKER CREDENTIALS — If you connect a broker (IBKR), you authorize TradeCenter to store your credentials in encrypted form (Fernet AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256) on our servers solely to execute instructions you initiate. You acknowledge that automated login tools may interact with your broker's own terms of service, and that risk is yours to accept.
3. DATA STORAGE — Your trade data, settings, and encrypted credentials are stored on TradeCenter servers in the EU. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
4. AI SIGNAL LOGGING — AI scanner signals are logged to measure scanner performance and improve the AI. They are never shared or sold.
5. NO GUARANTEE — Trading involves significant risk of loss. AI signals are tools to assist your research — not guarantees of profit.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS & REFUNDS — Pro/Ultra subscriptions may be cancelled anytime. Refunds are available within 7 days of a new subscription tier purchase if fewer than 10 AI queries were used and no live trades executed. Renewals are non-refundable.
7. INDEMNIFICATION — You agree to hold TradeCenter, its developers, and affiliates harmless from any losses, damages, or account terminations arising from your use of this software.
8. GOVERNING LAW — These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under DIAC rules, seated in Dubai.
9. CHANGES — We may update these terms with 7 days' in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Your IBKR credentials are encrypted with Fernet (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256) before being stored in our secure database — they are never stored in plaintext. Credentials are used solely to keep you logged in via iBeam and to execute actions you initiate. No credentials are shared with third parties, ever.

1. CREDENTIAL STORAGE
By connecting IBKR, you authorize TradeCenter to store your IBKR username and password encrypted with Fernet (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256). Stored solely for auto-login and trade execution initiated by you. You may delete your credentials at any time from Settings.
2. BROKER TERMS COMPLIANCE
Automating login or order placement may conflict with Interactive Brokers' own Terms of Service. You accept full responsibility for compliance with IBKR's policies. TradeCenter is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Interactive Brokers.
3. FINANCIAL RISK
Auto-trading with real money carries risk of total loss. TradeCenter provides tools and signals — all final trading decisions and their consequences are yours. We are not a registered investment adviser.
4. ORDER EXECUTION
When auto-execute is enabled, TradeCenter will place real orders on your behalf. A hard notional cap of $10,000 per signal applies as a safety guardrail. You can reduce this in settings at any time.
5. CHANGES
We may update these terms with notice. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

IB Gateway is a lightweight app by Interactive Brokers that runs on your computer and lets TradeCenter place orders and read your portfolio in real time. It doesn't have the full TWS interface — just a small login window — which makes it perfect for automated use.

Go to ibkr.com → Trading → Software → IB Gateway. Download the version for your OS (Windows / macOS / Linux). Run the installer — it takes about 2 minutes.

Open IB Gateway from your Applications. A small login window appears — enter your IBKR credentials. Set Trading Mode to Paper Trading to test safely first, or Live Trading for real orders. Click Login.

After login, a consent popup appears asking to enable API access. Click OK. In the Gateway window, go to Configure → Settings → API → Settings and ensure "Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients" is checked. Port is 4002 (paper) or 4001 (live).

Back in TradeCenter, enter your IBKR username and password, select your trading mode, and click ⚡ Auto-Connect. TradeCenter will verify the connection and confirm once live. A green dot means you're connected.
💡 Alternative: IBKR Client Portal
Instead of IB Gateway, you can also connect via the Client Portal API (web-based, no desktop app needed). Start it with: ./bin/run.sh root/conf.yaml
